The new drivers that came out a couple of days ago for the X-Fi Titanium tried to update or reinstall it but there's a certain file that was missing so it was entirely uninstalled. I tried downloading the console installed by itself from Creative and that had the same problem.
It wants me to "Insert disc one" to find layout.bin and starts with this location by default:
C:\Windows\temp\CRF000\CSLaunch
And it can't find it there, which is where I'm assuming it's supposed to be, like the file wasn't fully extracting it or something. I checked that particular folder after canceling the installation and it isn't in there at all.
I tried to reinstall the older drivers, but got the same problem, what the fuck do I have to do?
I use headphones and it's currently set to 2 speakers, I can tell by the way it sounds. And I have no idea how to change that from the Windows settings in 7, I already looked through all the audio hardware related shit and couldn't find anything to do that.
