Alright, good tips. Problem is I'm still a scholar so I have to prepare my lunch in the morning and keep it with me all day, that's why I go for the sandwiches. I agree that I could add some salad on my turkey sandwich for example. Tuna sounds great aswell.

My snack used to consist of variants of cookies combined with a piece of fruit, I figured I could just drop the first without really replacing it with anything else. Any other suggestions of snacks?

edit; oh yeah, this is for bulking, just to be sure.
Then you need to eat more. A fruit for a snack wont cut it.

How hard is it to prepare some tuna? Get the tin, put it in a tub, shove some tomatoes on top and you're good to go. Add some cottage cheese and you're doing even better.

True, you're right.

Any other areas where I could improve, or is the rest fine?

its not bad, you're eating about five times.  What is quark?
Its a german soft cheese that contains a shit load of micellar casien i.e. cottage cheese without all the lumpy texture.

For people that cant stand cottage cheese (me).  Grad a tub, stick a tea spoon of peanut butter, some low fat chocolate powder, some water whisk it all up.  Drink in one go 1 hr before bed.

8 hours later when i wake i personally dont find I am hungry.

cardio before your weight workout is not a good idea, so yeah do it on the off days but for goodness sake, eat plenty and drink a lot of water. you can't run an engine on an empty tank can you?

water is important for hydration but afaik its important to your muscle building.

cardio is definately fine on off days, in fact it's what you should do.

if you feel weak from cardio then i don't know what to tell you, eat more and drink more.

Maybe I missed it but I haven't seen much discussion on this. Has anyone had experience with weight gaining protein suppliments? A friend of mine recently had success with one and I've been considering trying it. So far this is the best one I've come up with:

Optimum Pro Complex Gainer
Calories - 650
Total Fat    8g
Saturated Fat   4g
Trans Fat    0g
Cholesterol       60mg
Sodium    340mg
Total Carbohydrate    85g
Dietary Fiber    5g
Sugars    6g
Protein    60g
...and a multitude of vitamins.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Better products or a good place to buy it on the cheap?
you mean like a lean mass builder?
Yeah I suppose so, this is still the best one I've found, but any first person experience anyone has would help.

Over here BSN is the second most expensive body building product you can buy. It's £43 over here for that tub. That's expensive.

Yeah Sonder, I realise that, but you can get great stuff for cheaper. Training is always going to cost, but you don't need to get the most expensive shit.

Ok a little update.

https://static.bf2s.com/files/user/29388/100519-201014.jpg 3months ago.

https://static.bf2s.com/files/user/29388/AugustSnap.jpg Yesterday.

Not really sure there is that much difference, I definitely haven't put on as much mass as the 3 months before the last pic.
Only real difference I can see is a bit more shape to my pecs. Not much to my abs even though I can feel them more defined when I touch them, there is just a layer that hasn't shifted.
But I have progressed in what I'm lifting, everything has increased at least one stage, so I'll keep at it. I have a proper weigh-in next tuesday.

You need to learn some posing to really see the differences.  I can see some changes in your stomach, and chest area.
