I liked Oahu once we got away from Honolulu. I hate congestion. It isn't relaxing and it didn't feel very "islandy". We spent 2 out of 3 weeks on the Big Island and I loved it. I loved that you could drive a couple hours and get from rainforest to desert to green fields that looked like we could be in Montana. and then in the winter you can drive up to get snow. I could do that. (without the bugs...lol)KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

pretty sure they'd need some reasonable suspicion11 Bravo wrote:

Chinese tbh. At least when I was there ~2 years ago. That whole strip towards the north of waikiki was filled with them. But I freaking love Waikiki. I could easily spend a good month doing nothing but going to the beach/hanging out in the park there.Kimmmmmmmmmmmm wrote:

we were at the rifle range which is just off the approach end of the main runway. the amount of JAL 747's passing overhead was interesting.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:

I hated Waikiki the MOST. TOO many people. TOO many tourists. TOO many cars. Why go all the way to Hawaii to get what you could get in Cali or Florida? Hotels, beach, tourists... just my opinion though.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:
