just got back from the bar

well, that's what happens when you don't show up in the first half... had they, jets would've had this game

oh well... it was an exciting season, and the bears lost so I get to root for the Packers... not all is lost

I wanted the Jets to win cuz I could actually stand to root for them in the Super Bowl, now it's the Steelers vs the Packers, as much as I hate the Steelers, I would just feel weird wanting the Packers to win.  Jets I can sympathize with

lol.  you obviously don't know what you're talking about.  we beat them back when they were healthy.  then we barely lost in a game where the packers were in playoff mode, the bears were in a we don't give a fuck mode, and we were in lambeau field.  its ok though, the bears are used to ignorant "experts" trying to tell them that they're always going to lose
lol

and?  it's not like we got completely raped.  we lost our qb after the 1st half

apart from the patriots, this is the first time the bears have lost as underdogs.

I'm sorry, did you not see our Defense on the 4th quarter? They did awesome, was too late though. Also Hanie did fine for a QB as I've been saying. 'Course if it wasn't for our weak offensive line and the strong defense the packers have things would be alot different. We need to improve our offensive line as we just can't have our QB keep getting sacked so much.

equally satisfying as watching him trying to run down the sideline in the NE game, during the excessive touchdown celebration*

Get over it, holy shit. I can talk and talk about how the Jets would've won the game if they'd gotten the ball back but they DIDN'T. Playing football by what-ifs is pointless. The Bears lost. Get the fuck over it.

Cincinnati Bengal's QB Carson Palmer is looking to be traded. I can see Carson in a Chicago uniform; he can fit into their offensive style.

I am over it. Just pointing some things out. There is always next year, hopefully the Bears improve their offense because by God they need to improve it. We can't just rely on our defense to do the work for us.

Why, because he sucks?

I heard he was contemplating retirement.

He doesnt want to play for the Bumgals any more from what I gather. I believe some other team would have to buy out his contract for him to play on their team. Whether he really wants to  retire or use it as a ploy, is up in the air.

Poseidon has a lot more to consider when it comes to what ifs. For instance, if Sanchez's arm was going forward when they called the fumble on the field. I think they made the right call, his arm went forward, but only after the ball popped. There had to be indisputable evidence to over rule the field call..

But rather than focus on things like that. He manned up and at least appreciates the fact that his team took both Brady, and Manning out of Superbowl contention. No easy feat to be sure.

Precisely. Simply put, the Jets didn't show up in the first half. That is why they lost. No "oh but if they..". This team disappoints me constantly, but I'll always be a fan. I'm over it, and I'm looking towards the hellish free agency the Jets will be facing.

http://www.nyjetscap.com/freeagents.html

Ellis is too old and can be replaced with someone in the draft, Weatherford was okay but lost it in the last games, Hunter was a phenomenal replacement for Damien Woody, Richardson will be replaced by The Terminator (John Conner), and I'm thinking Edwards will be resigned. There's no way they let Holmes go either. Dunno what they'll do about Cromartie.

P.S., that was definitely a fumble. No forward motion. Not really Sanchez's fault though, the O-Line is held responsible for that kind of stuff.

I had to get over that bullshit call that kept the bucs out of the playoffs. The NFL even went so far as to officially apologize for it.

Why do people hate Jay Cutler? I don't understand it; it's kind of pathetic, really.

It says a lot when he's hated more than a rapist (inb4hewasneverconvicted) and a dog killer.
