promise me you will at least work on an instrument rating later on.  too many people get killed because they get a private license and go flying around the country.  thats why bonanzas are called doctor killers.
Yea... Learning VFR only is dangerous and could lend me being stranded somewhere until the weather clears.  Thought about that a bit.  Flown in a Cherokee Comanche as a passenger some time ago and with pops flying in alaska, I understand the importance of instrument ratings.
I'd heard Bonanza's were 'rich-men killers'

Getting fucking frustrated by the weather here. I've flown twice in the last 3 weeks. I only have 3 left then I am done, as in the 3rd one is my exam.

I think Markoo is a schizophrenic who hasn't seen the outside of his padded room in 20 years and has adopted this Estonian persona.

I don't know how to do any of those things. I don't know how to work a till or turn on the burger-frier at McDonald's either.

But, you know, I could always spend a couple of minutes on Google and find out. It's not that dificult.

you know if one of you work in HR/payroll or know someone who does....

explain to me reimbursement checks are mailed to me and not direct deposited like a payroll check.  i mean almost everywhere i have worked this has been the case.  i meant its just around 70 bucks or so and im not going to open an account just to cash the fucking thing.  ya so i have to pay 2 bucks to cash it no big deal but its just a minor hassle that to me seems easily avoidable.  just add it to my paycheck.

Why would you have to open an account if you already have an account with direct deposit?

No it's not - travelling is something I do for pleasure/enjoyment, changing oil isn't.

Lol, a place my brother and I used to work at direct deposited my check into his account once, then HR told me I had to go to him to get my money.

I was like, "No, it's your job to pay me, not my brothers."

It wasn't as simple as that anyway. He had been hit by a car that ran a stop sign and was out of work at the time, shit had gone sideways and he ended up defaulting on a loan and was having any wages garnished. So when my money went into his account, it was garnished and he didn't have it.

Fackin HR trying to get me to clean up their fuck ups.

Saves me the hassle of sitting around in a shop waiting for someone else to do it. My time is valuable. It also makes me self sufficient, rather than dependent on others.
