It's not enough to have an idea. Everyone has ideas. Making it work is what winners do.

Alright, quotes from others posted by the newsmedia but still.LinkedIn chief executive Jeff Weiner, also speaking after Mr Jobs stepped down as Apple's boss, said: "He is the Michelangelo of the digital age.

The guy was a great innovator but he displayed nowhere near the vision or genius that either Da Vinci or Michelangelo possessed. The comparison is ludicrous.
well thomas edison was homeschooled.Shocking wrote:
Now some are comparing him to einstein, ffs

i doubt einstein's networth was nearly as big as steve job's, even for his time.Shocking wrote:
He filled a hole in the market at the right time. I have no doubt in my mind that the technology would've been popularised with or without him due to the ever increasing use of the computer in academic circles, it was going to crash onto the consumer market sooner or later.
He was a very succesful entrepeneur, a good innovator but nowhere near the level of genius aformentioned people he gets compared to were.
edison was a dick but a good businessman. i think Tesla was a better inventor but he wasn't good at selling people on his ideas the way Edison did.andros wrote:

so he got compared to edison and einstein.
edison was homeschooled. (thus most likely retarded/socially awkward according to some of the posts i've seen here from people)
einstein most likely wasn't as rich. (cause money is the most important thing right)
so, who's winning in the end?
Success at homeschool depends on a number of factors, including:RTHKI wrote:
