I think they should redo some of the vehicals and make them more dynamic so that you can disable a certain part of it.

For example:

1.) Helicopters -
You could take out the rear tail rotar by hitting that part. There's no health bar for it, it uses the same as the normal one but if you happen to hit it in that part, it stops working, and thus, making it harder for the pilot to control by slowly spinning. It would be possible to land, repair it, or just bail out. But it would be hard to hit.

2.) Transport Vehicals -
You could give the tires flats, causing the vehical to drive more slowly and maybe even turning awkwardly, at least to a minimum degree. Could happen if you continuously fire at the tires, or really just hit the spot driving over a pot hole to fast, though it might be better if you could only fire at them.

3.) Armor Vehicals -

No Change

4.) Airplanes -

No change

for armor vehicles you can take out a tank driver by throwing a grenade in the hole where the gunner should be so everyone has a chance versus a tank

It'd be kind of hard to hop up there without anyone noticing, and if they were moving chances are you'd die.

The flat tire part should already be included in the Expansion Special Forces.
Then you need a Support *brings the thing to krick the car up* and a Engineer *He has the wheel* to fix that.
Or maybe the other way around. Personally I think that would suck

going on the idea that you could take out vehicle tyres, it'd be nice if support or engineers could throw out (i think they are called rippers) - the lengths of jawed spikes that police forces use to disable the tyres of vehicles on motorways or in secured compound entrances.

they are featured in GTA vice city i think.

You could extend the 'flat tyre' idea to tanks too - fire your AT at the tracks and they break - not blowing the tank up but making it immobile...

im imagining hitting an aircraft in the engine intakes (or just the engines) with the M95 will cause a lot of damage, thats what .50 cal is good at. it should be implemented.

throwing a grenade down the commander hole in a tank would be a pretty cool idea!

Helos need to be more sensitive with the rotors.

i havent got into the bits and pieces of BF2 with modding, so i'm not sure for the answer: Do tanks take different damage when hit in the back versus the front?

i think the plane would have to have damage such as, if ya hit the wing, holes would appear and make it harder to fly, thus forcing the pilot to land it

I know you guys are going for realism here, but let me be the voice of playability for a second:

Um do we really need to make choppers and transports weaker?
Choppers are getting obliterated out there by jets, and are much more vulnerable to AA fire, even anti-tank rounds than jets ever will be. No one even gets into transport choppers anymore cause they're flying death traps. Ground transports are already vulnerable to C4, Anti-tank rounds, and mines. Do we need to give them flat tires to make them weaker so then no one will ever get into one?
If anything I think we need to make jets weaker.
