Cracked a bottle of Gewurztraminer, from Marlborough in New Zealand. Has the distinctive lychee smell and taste that all traminers have. Dry acidity in the finish, quite nice

You're in the biggest wine producing state in Australia. Cleanskins can always be a bit of a gamble but there can be some real gems.Dilbert_X wrote:
If you hear of any good cleanskins don't be shy about giving us a heads up.

It was nice to experience vintages in such variety, and complimented by food from local restaurants. This year's Grand Tasting will feature an extraordinary gathering of domestic and international vineyards, gourmet culinary creations, and live entertainment. Sample from an impressive selection of wines, spirits, and beers from around the world, as well as a superior collection of Park City's notable restaurants. This event - held at the Canyon's Resort - features over 500 different wines and 30 restaurants and food offerings, making it the largest tasting of the weekend and in the state of Utah! Complementing this food and wine masterpiece is a spectacular view of Park City.
