What do you think a senior design project is? It's a capstone that theoretically applies all learned knowledge. A thesis is a formalized research paper that is supposed to perform the same task. I did not do a thesis, I did a design project.
Then you didn't do a real degree in the normal sense of the word, you would have had to do a survey on the current level of knowledge in a subject and then do work to extend further it to do a thesis, not design a fan or whatever you did.
There's nothing wrong with a technologist course, it would probably have suited me better, but a degree it is not.
"Maths grads just plug numbers into formulae"
"Biochemists just throw stuff in test-tubes and see what happens"
Maybe this is what is wrong with America now, no-one has a clue about how the world works or what academics, scientists and engineers do, everyone is arrogant and obnoxious and thinks they're the smartest guy in the room because their dad showed them how to use a torque wrench.
And so we end up with a leader like Trump, who claims he came top of his class and thinks he's a genius because he spent four years at frat parties doing a two year college course in a blancmange subject and has a certificate to prove it, but threatens legal action against release of his transcript.
America's response to the virus has been literally the worst in the world, with two months head start, and Trump's response is the equivalent of watering plants with Brawndo.
"What about malaria drugs? They're drugs right? Can't we try them? Aren't they what viruses crave?"
