good justification for a name change (acceptable justification imo is just wanting to). not unprecedented i think for an infamous person to trigger a bit of an exodus from their name. i wouldn't want to put kids through being Mister or Miss Epstein.

Living in the city has lead to some interesting interactions.
While walking home after running some guy runs up to me and asks how long it takes to run to X restaurant from where we are. It's 1pm and he's wearing a ratty bath robe, carrying a coffee cup, and looks very unkempt in general. I was very surprised he didn't ask for money. Gave him a time and he starts sprinting away.
Also saw 2 guys drinking a 6pack of beer and watching basketball on their phone which was propped up on a fire hydrant, it's below freezing out.

I read that millennials are the first generation to age while so plugged into social media. So discussions about aging and what it means to be whatever will be a thing.
like, adolescence on the internet? gen x, boomers still highly plugged into social media. more than a few irl conversations spent shooting down old people's facebook/xitter-sourced garbage. boomers in your circles are probably putting on youtube christmas music with AI-generated backgrounds as we speak.
heavily-revised family histories aside, i wasn't even the driving force to getting a computer (and then internet) in the house to begin with. what 12-year-old was drooling over dad-office msdos in the 1990s? i wanted a mac, if anything. it's what i knew. it took selling me on there being a better library of games on pc to explore to get my interest. most of my millennial contemporaries had (if anything) typewriters for important schoolwork (ok boomer). i was happy enough using mac at school for office suite needs. it was a great electronics/life balance. you could slam through the usual console games pretty quickly, then it would be off to do something else like books or basketball. but look out, here comes ubiquitous home computers, the internet, cellphone saturation. now your parents are never truly off from work unless you're vacationing so far out in the sticks that there's zero reception.
then boomer parents groused "my kids spend too much time on The Computer." see it with parents complaining about kids and smartphones. who put that shit in their hands to begin with? fuck.

I meant aging on the social media together is different for the millennials because we were the generation that totally put our youth and experiences on the internet. Our Internet relationships, like this forum, go from adolescences to now middle age. We were once talking about college girlfriends and now it is all marriages and engagements and aging

I don't have the mental energy to make new internet relationships on forums. Real life relationships are already annoying as it is. I hate Christmas shopping for example. Christmas shopping for loved ones and coworkers. Ugh 😩
