Hi mates,
I'm a new medic(new player for that matter)...
First of all I've watched medics play for awhile and 99% go prone to revive. So I did the same thing, thinking that's the way it's done. Well i read Talons guide and he mentioned reviving while standing or even on the run.
COOl it's not hard at all! I never go prone(unless there is cover and I need it) now I even zap them without stopping. Just sprint and when your about 10 feet away or so let sprint off pull out paddles and hit thier torso. That is important to hit torso.
I have just started doing this and thought it worth mentioning here, because I see almost all medics proning.
Anyway hope you new medics will give this a try, it will sure reduce your time under fire. You can zap someone from at least a couple meters(6 feet) I was amazed at how far the paddles will revive. It may be a little less than 6 feet but it's still quite significant.
