Hi mates,

I'm a new medic(new player for that matter)...

First of all I've watched medics play for awhile and 99% go prone to revive. So I did the same thing, thinking that's the way it's done. Well i read Talons guide and he mentioned reviving while standing or even on the run.

COOl it's not hard at all! I never go prone(unless there is cover and I need it) now I even zap them without stopping. Just sprint and when your about 10 feet away or so let sprint off pull out paddles and hit thier torso. That is important to hit torso.

I have just started doing this and thought it worth mentioning here, because I see almost all medics proning.

Anyway hope you new medics will give this a try, it will sure reduce your time under fire. You can zap someone from at least a couple meters(6 feet) I was amazed at how far the paddles will revive. It may be a little less than 6 feet but it's still quite significant.

Yeah its pretty cool how you can do that.  Because generally sometimes Im disgusted with how fast I move and shoot on this game, and you can do anything when youre not in sprint, so if youre running over a buddy and just look down you can revive your headshotted comrade with a quick electric shock to the foot from several feet above him.

I hate going prone, too much delay in getting up and sniper bait really.  I encourage others to do it :p

mostly I crouch because it kind of gives me a sense of cover, and it kind of gives me a little more accuracy when reviving.  I can move faster crouch->action than I can prone->action.

Medic whoring ftw.

ive never tried reviving and running.
as i am approaching the two points i prone and initiate the Point Paddles. then as they are reving the target i crouch to a run and im Down, revive, and up in a very short time.
ill try the Run and Revive thing though.

I run, dive, zap, get up and sprint as hard and fast as I can. Leaving the revivee to his own devices. It works for me.

The moment during moving down to prone or up from prone, you can dodge bullets easier than running.

That's cool m8, but the run, zap, run is even faster...but requires learning a new tactic.

debateable to say the least. but however you want to do it, just sharing something I have put into practice the last couple of days.

During revive and Defibrilator recharge i usually bunny hop and go crouch to revive. I usual never go prone, cuz you're a static target then. A half skilled enemy will send you some bullets in the head if you're laying around.

When you go prone press Ctrl or whatever you crouch button is and you jump straight back up like pre 1.2

Yeah it's cool but I've kinda mastered the prone-revive-crouch-space-RUN tactic. Once I did it so fast my mate said he didn't wanna shoot me cos he didn't know where my hitbox would be

Well i read Talons guide and he mentioned reviving while standing or even on the run.
Thanks! Now can you go feature request it, it hasnt been featured because of the other (substandard, which is why I wrote mine) medic guide already featured.

I agree with that but there is one advantage to going prone - some soldiers think you are a dead body!

It's happened to me quite a few times. Scares them to hell when you start moving!

You're welcome and thanks for writing it. I think I plus 1'ed you when I read it if I remember correctly. I thought it was a good guide, however I have not read the other one you mentioned.

As far as I'm concerned yours should be featured

Its there. Has some good info, but nothing good on weapons. Talks about "the basic assault rifle". I'm assuming he means the M16, but the AK101/47 is also a basic rifle and handles far differently. Seems to think the pistol is better on the medic than other kits...

In fact, I'm gonna try and get my guide featured now...
