Hey all. Haven't been able to find an issue like I am having by searching so I thought I would just ask.
Here are my specs:
3.0G P4+HT
1 Gig PC3200 Ram
Creative Audigy 2ZS
6600GT 128Mb APG
2 x 250Gig Seagate SATA HDD's (RAIDed)
Now the problem. After playing for about an hour and a half, either BF2 or BF2:SF, my game becomes almost impossible to play. The screen starts jumping real bad as I move and the sound hops too. I managed to get a look at my ping while it was doing it the other day and it was only 38, so I'm sure its not internet lag causing the issue.
I thought perhaps my video card was overheating, but I monitored it last night and the Max Temp it hit was 69C and it only hit that once in 4 hours of on and off play time. The mojority of the time playing averaged a temp of between 60-63C.
My CPU is also pretty well cooled, staying in the low 60's through all of my play time.
I have not checked the FPS during the choppiness because I dont know how.
If anyone can tell me how to monitor the FPS I will do that, and then if there are any suggestions out there for fixing this issue, they would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
