I find it sad. Really sad. You really have to belive in some principles, and being individualy punished for someone else's stupidity and lack of concentration shatters my faith . Anyway - I do play sniper a lot recently and even teamkills won't discourage me. I like being perfect... or trying hard to beKimSnow wrote:
I manage to average killing at least one of my teammates per round with a claymore (and of course they punish) - which i find funny.
As for the rifles, I also prefer M24 to M95, because M95 heavy .50cal rounds tend to "fall down" very quickly, and you have to aim much higher than with the Remingtonish M24. The only advantage M95 has over the standard USMC rifle is the capability of killing vehicle crewman thorugh glass. And that of course is a very serious advantage. But I still think M24 is designed and looks better than "Barret Light Fifty", with this classic hunter-rifle shape.
PLA's Type 88 sniper rifle has the best scope sight IMHO, and looks very futuristic. I like it very much, but it's lack of power and accuracy at longer ranges puts it on 3rd position.
And the soviet Dragunov sniper rifle (although it's the same as Type 88) sucks completely... Triangle crosshair? OH PLEASE!
