In 'Conquest: Assault' maps (Where one team has a UCB, and the other doesn't),
Why is the team with the UCB allowed to attack the other team's last base, but the side without the UCB is NOT allowed to attack the other team's last base (the UCB)?

EXAMPLE: Karkand (USMC has a UCB, MEC doesn't).
Say USMC have pushed MEC all the way back to the cement factory. USMC will be totally, balls out, attackin' the factory.
But what if MEC push USMC all the way back to the USMC base. Can't MEC get their balls out as well, and attack the UCB?
Why is that a kickable offence, but the attack on the cement factory is not an offence?

I think that if one team has played well and cornered the other team in their last base (Uncapturable or not), then they have earned the right to attack it. It's the other team's job to pull their socks up and try and salvage the match by fighting their way out of the mess they made themselves. I feel that's one of the more interesting situations, and I enjoy it even when I'm on the side that's screwed.

Because (using karkand example) MEC can start to 'base rape' as soon as the game starts giving USMC no chance and the reason they are there is just that, raping get cheaply earnt points and kills it does take skill to have all the flags when you start with them.

Where as the USMC has either captured all other flags (or its not MECS last base) and they are trying to capture it to win the game. Its not so much 'raping' as killing those that are in trying to stop you capturing the base. If they are not trying to capture the base they are sad losers. I know ive been bitched at many times for 'capturing' someones last base to win the round, because my team mates want to 'rape' them. If MEC has lost all but 1 base then i say end this round ASAP so we can start aagin fresh where maybe MEC can learn from there mistakes and we can have a fairer match.

I think attacking UCB's are fine, when that's your only base.   If your team sucks so bad to be down to that only flag, you deserve to get raped or just don't spawn and the round's over.  Big deal.  On Karkand, if you can't spawn at the gas station as USMC and get a vehicle and drive up the left or right borders of the map, you're a fucking mongoloid and you shouldn't be playing this game.

It's when you're playing something like Gulf of Oman and you have 3 USMC squads driving APC's and tanks around the MEC runway attacking everyone there, when the MEC has all but maybe one flag on the map, then it gets into the faggotry.  Bombing the runway or artying the base is fine, if it keeps the MEC jets down and provides your team with air superiority, then, hey, that's tactics, it's war.  But killing people as soon as they spawn is a weak ass tactic and shows a lack of sportsmanship on your part.  And it goes both ways.  I never artillery the carrier, or bomb it in a jet, because hey, at that point my team most likely will win anyways, and I'd rather have a good challenge than get some free lame-ass points that I racked up by being a total queer.  (same goes for bunny-hopping jump-prone one-shot ak-101's, although I get the best of those donkey dicks the majority of the time...)

just like.... some like to eat the brains of chimps others don't
the same applies for bf2... different players different ideas

like said before deal with it it's a game find a server that applies your favorite way of playing
