theese rubber boats that we get from the carriers stink, why cant we have a CB90 (combat boat 90, swedish boat) or the equivalent from the US navy (dont know any of ur boats so thats why i refereed to ours)

theese boats are fast, got some armor and got some good guns to show off with. i dont see why we have to travel in the toy-boats we got atm.

give us somethin proper, then perhaps wake would actually be a playable map

You are forgetting that the RIB's are also supposed to be for all of the theaters. If we gave all the PLA and MEC armies Navy boats, that would kinda be stupid, wouldn't it?

ye, well im quite sure the PLA has boats of their own, and MEC could always get some from Russia if they dont have any. that doesnt feel like a big problem, also its mostly the USMC who got boats ingame

What kinds of boats does the USS Essex actually carry? Anyone think of that?

I think Wake is playable. I see the USMC win regularly. You take one of the rigid-hulled inflatable assault boats and stay in the mist, toodle around the back of the island, and come ashore on a flag.

You just need to convince your team that establishing air-superiority is a necessary step towards making a successful landing. If Wake is unplayable it's because your team-mates aren't using the most powerful weapon at their disposal.

Form into squads get 2-3 squad leader to take blackhawk and land at airfield, while the rest of the team attacks from the arty island. spwan on squadleader take airfield, kiss goodbye to J-10 nightmares

Oh yeah - I've done that a few times. Just have to take the chopper high - around 400 metres. The typical jet jockey is so focussed on the ground targets he hardly notices. Then power spiral down behind the airfield and... well. You know the rest.
