I am not a big bush fan but the fact that we are fighting the terroists in the center of thier territory and not in ours is ok with me. If Bush had let it go like Clinton did after trade center bombing one or the cole bombing we would still be seeing bombings happining in the states. Keep the war on thier turf i say. There blowing up thier own people and buildings not ours. Although our fighting men and women are taking the hits over in the middle east for us civilians aleast us civilians have been safe so far in the U.S. so god bless those men and women.
As far as this dyke thing i think hind sight is 20 20. There is know way you can fix every outdated levy system from the presidents chair I think the Army Core of Engineeres is most responsible for that f-up.

Thomas Jefferson, the Louisiana Purchase and he was a very brilliant Conservative that understood people, freedom, and human rights. Read some of the stuff he wrote.
I also think Regan is a close Second.
FDR is dead last, his wife ran the White House and he created the biggest tax of all to hurt the poor, Social Security. How much has fica taken from you that you will never see????

I liked Clinton
I thought Kennedy although he did good things was quite a womaniser

LOL. Like when he ignored the report that Al Qaeda were planning to use planes to attack America?
One thing is for sure: There was no such report. Because there was no such plan in the first place. That's just the Democratic propaganda targeting the Rebublicans in the most retarded manner. Since their policy is one and the same, the only thing left to fight about is who is more capable of carrying it out.
So saying there was a report helps the Republicans cause they need to find a target, but it also helps the Democrats cause Bush supposedly didn't take it into consideration. As if any of that was ever possible...

Null vote.. because you really can't say who's the "best."
Washington, Lincoln, FDR, Eisenhower, Kennedy, and Reagan are all definitely a step above everyone else.
If you think about legacies... Lincoln won the civil war and freed the slaves, FDR kicked the Axis' ass, Eisenhower helped to kick Hitler's ass.. then went on to create the Interstate highway system, JFK has the success of the space program and the victory in the Cuban missle crisis.. and Clinton's legacy is... umm.. let me think.. Lewinsky?

I actually thought the Clinton option was funnier.Ikarti wrote:

Only 5 more years for me to become president from today.

Sept. 11 had very little to do with the deficit. Outlandish spending did.. Tax breaks for the rich, breaks for the oil companies shall we go on....USAFDude_1988 wrote:

Lincoln because he helped crush the stupid Confederacy and ended slavery. His leadership brought our country together and we prospered afterwards.
I'd also say Washington, because he never abused his powers and lead as an example to all presidents after him on how to run the office.
And, I can't believe you put Bush up there, strictly for flames.

Jefferson FTW, he screwed over the french and doubled the size of the country all at once I also happen to agree with him politically, it's to bad there aren't any politicians like him anymore.
Lincoln comes in second, he had to be a great leader to hold the country together after the civil war.
Washington comes in third, should be obvious.
FDR fourth, he was an excellent leader during WW2, though he was very shortsited with his programs to help during the great depression... and he married his freaking cousin, so I'm wondering on the earlier comment about his wife being hot.
Reagan/Kennedy get a tie for me, they both did a lot for this country, kennedy really got things going with the moon program, and saved all our butts in the cuban missle crisis, and Reagan got the country out of a nasty slump and quite possibly prevented another depression.
Grant comes in 6th, he was a good general, but didn't do too much while president, which means he didn't screw up the country, always a good thing.
Bush comes in 7th, I wouldn't even have him on the list, he's gonna have a hell of a legacy and a name known in school books 200 years from now, but not for the right reasons. Only things he's done that I like is taking down the Taliban, and the tax cuts, which were an even cut across the board for everyone, not just the rich like a lot of people seem to think.
Clinton comes in last for me because of the brady bill, it was a blatent attack to the constitution, and as a gunsmith attacked my livelyhood. God damned prick. BTW, I probably would have boned monica too.

The civil war was about money, not slavery. I'm sure it could've been handled without our troops shooting eachother.Jenkinsbball wrote:

President F.D Roosevelt took over from Herbet Hoover and fixed america with fireside chats.
I can't believe that Reagan is leading this poll.
That man was a joke, a bad joke conpared to the likes of Abraham Lincoln, George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.

It wasn't about just one thing. It was a result of rising tensions and differences between the ideologies and public perceptions between the south and the north, both sides were wholly justified in their stance.lowing wrote:

I see you had trouble connecting the dots. It was a law suit for slander brought by Paula Jones clinton suborned several witnesses and lied under oath. " I wasn't about hillary being to ugly to fuck. You try either and see how fast " you go to jail "
The economy started its decline under his administration. I didn't blame him nor do I credit him for its growth. He achieved nothing, didn't even try and deliver on even one campaign promise and was quickly eclipsed by history. Alas he is the " forgotten president "
PS lots of people died Many right in our own country while he had other things on his mind, Many people feel 911 was a direct and expected result of his " Blow up an empty tent then Cut and Run" or "I didn't See that " policy on terrorism. He basically waited it out and didnt act knowing it would be ( someone Else's problem ) after 2000. Unfortunatly we all paid for it. Imagain if we confronted Hitler in 1938. Well clinton had his chance to do something ( anything ) and didn't.
the Family Medical Leave act,
the Brady Bill,
welfare reform,
the communications decency act,
Enough work to keep any President very busy... for a Week or Two
the cold war ended with the Reagan tax plan still untouched and he had all the military spending cuts.
That balanced the Budget.
Many think he cut Too much. The Brady bill is a total joke. Minimum wage increases didn't help anyone especially the poor.
John F. Kennedy
Cause he banged M.Monroe....
