I played 9 rounds of RTJ last night with about 12 of my friends on a 64 player server and what can I say I had a great time blowing up armor, running, gunning and taking flags w/o some flying whore killing me from the unknown. Great map you can actually take cover from armor and you can pwn with armor because there's plenty of it
Yeah I second you on that great map its mega fun c4ing tanks up, urban warfare is so intense and not much of that spawn killing compared to karkland.
Reminds me of a Special Forces map fixed with a regular map.
Good call, so far it's pretty fun.

I played this back in the beta. I like the map, but it just doesn't seem like DICE work to me. It looks like a cheesy custom map. The terrain is very dull, it's all dull.

i think its an okay map, i like to snipe on it but the thing is for me is that i lag weed on that map

Its a good map, but when it is infantry only on a 64 guy server, I think 90% of the people are snipers, Im a medic whore and i love using my shock paddles and getting in the top 3, but for fuck sake get a flag!
I enjoy it. I'm gunna play with tanks next time, infantry only is quite fun also.

Its a pretty decent map. I agree with a post about the map being a bit dull - but thats only the terrain. The city is pretty detailed and plays well.
Claywhores are much less of a problem compared to karkand, yet it still has the CQC of the map and less nade spamming.
What also impresses me so far, is that for a city map, there seems to be a LOT of people using AT kits to hold off armour, rather than try and be a spec ops faggot and attempt C4 charges.
The only problem I have about it, is that in the 20 rounds Ive played it - Ive seen the MEC win once. It seems greatly biased for the US. They even get a third tank from the front CP (outpost??). In fact, in terms of who wins/loses - it is the exact opposite of Sharqi where MEC always win and have the massive advantage.

About the AT/c4 I ahve to really disagree, every time i played there were at least 4 jihad jeepers per team(32 player map). Also i have played 14 times won 12 and only been USMC twice (2 wins). But this may have been because It was a 32 player map (less armor) and MEC acually defended the market/junkyard area with AT mines and C4 traps.Snake wrote:

But Ilove the map, its much more like sharqi and SF maps which are my favourite, so I expect I'll be playing alot more.
It's nice to see 'good job EA' used in a non-sarcastic way
