OK WELL, first off i am an extreme mountain biker, and a just bought a brand new bike and its got really nice disc brakes. so my brakes were rubbing up against the pad so i was in my garage fixing them.... the tire was spinning and my disc brakes have a ridge on them, my left index finger was caught int he ridge and was pulled into the spinning tire. a spoke cut all the way down to the bone and i ended up getting stitches in my finger. kinda sucks cuz the biking season is almost over and now i cant ride
Sucks Find a new sport..iceman785 wrote:

actually some of the mountain bike parks ive been to are awesome
yea i did that once sorta. i was trying to change pedals on my bike and one was stuck and i could not loosen it up with an alan wrench. well i came home really drunk that night from the bar and was hell bent on getting that fucking pedal off. well i held the other crank while i yanked on the other one. needless to say i slipped in my drunkenness and sliced my calf wide open on the large chain ring. i bled like a stuck pig because of all the alcohol in my system.

I used to mountain bike but it gets expensive after a while, always breakin parts, buyin new treads, and brake pads etc. . which is why i bmx now its cheap and i think its much better over all
cuz i was fixing the brake and i needed the tire to be spinning so i could see what was wrongN.A.T.O wrote:

hah. i was pedaling after greasing the gears up to check everything, and i was wiping some of the grease off the chain as it was going round... too bad the clotch snagged on the rear gear, and sucked my thumb right into one of the teeth. my thumb was totally flat with a punture wound clear through the fingernail.
hey its TRIGGER!!!!!, damn dude thats sounds bad lol
i broke my left wrist a few months back by caseing on the last jump of the 6 pak (only a 12 foot gap.....)

Work gloves saved my fingers when I worked in a bike shop. I recommend them.iceman785 wrote:

yeah, i thought about that while i was in the ER... OH and i was wearign a T-shirt that has an elf on it that is missing an arm and it says "keep both hands inside the sleigh." ***IRONY!!***
the biking season is never over
haha, EXTREME!!!! i like that word, esp. with all caps. lol. but anyway, it hurt like a mother for a few weeks. my second worst would be biking with sandals, going off a jump and my big toenail got stuck in the spoke. bye bye toenail.R3v4n wrote:

One of the best Xtreme mountain bikers in the world is "knuckles" McGee. He has no fingers on his left hand and only two on his right. There's hope for you yet.
