Which game series has the better storyline? Which has the better gameplay? Which has better graphics? Which is the most fun?

The problem with Halo 1 and 2 is the repetetive and boring level designs. HL had atmosfere, Halo.. not so much.PRiMACORD wrote:
Half-life blows away Halo in terms of art, design and story.
Halo blows away Half-Life's enemy AI and combat systems, that made the gameplay for the Halo series a big winner for me. It was fun to play on Legendary (especially coop).
HL2 is more about the maps, getting from point A to point B with mildly entertaining combat. Halo 1/2 were more focused on intense combat with a lot less focus on the maps.
HL2 MP was awesome but it only came with 2 fucking maps. If Valve worked on it more it would have been great. I guess i have CS to blame for that, they seem to put all there focus on it.
I've never played Halo 1 or 2 online so i can't say. The coop was fantastic though.
Overall, i'd have to go with HL2 even though i'd be more likely to blow the dust off the Xbox and fire up some old fashioned Halo combat.
Best game series ever = GTADarkhelmet wrote:

You ever played Halo 1 on legendary mode for the PC? I can't pass level one...LaidBackNinja wrote:

Interesting fact: the enemy AI was WORSE in HL2 than it was in HL1. HL1's AI is insane, the marines are very smart, work together, take cover, throw grenades, but the assasins are RUTHLESS. They use hit and run tactics to hit the player unseen, they retreat, use obstacles, attack from above and below, and HIDE from the player, something which I've never seen in any other game. Only F.E.A.R. boasts enemy AI that is argueably better than HL's. Halo's AI just dodges about for a bit.
whats that got to do with anything, anyone can make a game hard, give me 30 seconds and ill make a flash game thats impossible.Darkhelmet wrote:

I played it on legendary mode on xbox. I have to admit I only just made it past level one. But it's so insanely hard not because of the enemy AI, but because of the insane amounts of damage they do and the amount of damage they can take, versus the amount of damage you (the player) can take. The balance is just messed up, that's all.Darkhelmet wrote:

I've beaten all of halo on legendary, on xbox and pc. It's quite easy actually, though on Co-op, hunters rather than jackels gets to you.LaidBackNinja wrote:
