Point for Capture a flag

I think capture points should be given to the guy raising more time the flag.
This is what I talk about....
I arrive to a flag alone.
I convert it in neutral.
Normally enemies see this and start running to this flag to defend it.
I am raising the flag and almost at the top some enemy kill me.
One guy of my team kill this enemy then he ends raising the flag and the capture points are for him and nothing for me.
I think points should be for the one raising the most of the flag and he should receive a capture assistance.

I guess you should have killed that enemy before he got you and finished raising your flag

Yes, I agree.
But, there are situations out of your control.
He sent granades and you did not notice it....
or he kill you with granade launcher.....
or you were killed with artillery....
or killed by sniper....
or an airplane bombing....

Not really out of your control if you realize that EA/DICE probably had the mindset that people would play in squads not run around the map aimlesly capturing flags alone. Sure it sucks when you get killed but if you have squad members, flag raising time is considerably less. Just be the first person in the radius of the flag if you want the neutralize and capture points. The rest of your squad members will receive assist points.

Agree.
But just today, I make a neutral flag at tv station and when I was raising it, a noob of my team sent a granade.
I was killed, no points for me. Just I am Sorry.
And obviously he captured the flag.

And he lost 6 for tking you, its not like he made out with a bunch of points for finishing the flag capture.
Personally i dont think this is something that will ever change, and i couldnt care less. There are much bigger problems with bf2 that should be fixed first.

I agree, give the dude a break. Sometimes I'll move just outside the radius without knowing it just as another team mate comes to help me, and I don't end up getting that flag capture, just an assist.
