Hey there!
I thought it would be nice if we could have a little discussion about whisky in general and single malts in particular.
I'm a huge Islay fan myself and favor the peatier bottlings.
(Ardbeg, Laphroaig, Lagavulin and so on)
I recently bought an 18 year old Talisker that was a nice addition to my collection.
(Small but constantly growing)

Robust and with good smokey notes but yet surprisingly fruity.
Much more mellow than its 10 year old sibbling.
Next on my shopping list will be a Laphroaig Quarter Cask and a 15 year old Bowmore Mariner.
If all goes well, next summer I will work at the whisky academy at Bruichladdich.
A friend of mine visited Islay last year and he's got quite an impressive collection so every chance I get I visit his house for a little tasting session!
My tip of the day will be the Bruichladdich - Infinity Second Edition.

Anymoo, chat away!
//Best regards Jens
