Mosh pits are always a good idea, not really sure what happend to your friend.DonFck wrote:
They're from the US, I believe, and yes, it's prog rock with a spanish feel. Remember At The Drive-In? Now that's da shiznit!Ty wrote:
The Mars Volta are a good Aussie act, but yeah, their music is kind of for an aquired taste. Definatly not mainstream.
When it comes gigs, I choose the "calm"-section. Example: We were at a Machine Head club-gig in Helsinki. I was drinking my barley-shake and so was my friend (known on these forums as Ubersturmbannfuhrer). We were both enjoying the show on the upper floor, with a perfect view down to the stage. Our mutual friend decided to storm the moshpit. At a Machine Head gig. Now that had "bad idea" written all over it. The night ended with us taking him to get his jaw+lower teeth rewired at 2am.
Nerd-section, yes please.

You don't need to own an album in order to listen to the songs.DoctorFruitloop wrote:
So how can you possible make a statement regarding all of their music when by your own admission you don't own all of their albums and haven't listened to all of the ones you do own?

I remember someone posted a frag video they made with that song playing. It actually seems like a cool song. Does anyone know a link to that video?brome wrote:
