wow, such insight.  Letterman wasnt suggesting that we should invade North Korea.  The point he was making was that we invaded Iraq because we thought Hussein had weapons, We know NK has weapons but we aren't invading.  Why? 

And if military actions take so much planning then why are we now stuck in the quagmire that is Iraq?  Ooh, lemme guess your response.

Why are you so angry? Why attack me and make assumptions to my response? Go get laid. I never said he thought we should invade NK ( he asked why we werent) , I was giving a reason why we werent. Which is the question he asked.

Lol, the quoting leaves the post here so deleting is worthless. And I would argue some of the points here but at best,t that video was entertaining. I didn't learn anything new, except that letterman is great at interrupting. But it was nice to hear someone admit that they were wrong about WMD.

Letterman proved not much, threw in a few questions alot were wondering (Invaded Iraq but not North Korea for WMDs), and didn't let Bill speak. Bill doesn't allow people to speak on his show, unless the guest is agreeing with him. Big deal.  Left wing right wing. meh, its all the same.  Anyone who labels themselves, right wing left wing democrate republican, fascist, communist, whatever, is closing off thier mind to different possibilites that don't agree with thier own belief structure.  Bill O'Rielly is in the same boat as Ann Coulter IMO.   Closed minded people who won't listen to reason or new ideas.  Intelligent people, yes, they would be nobodies if they weren't but close minded none the less.

Political beliefs are like religeous beliefs. Some people are so passionate about thier politics that there really is no use trying to argue to them about it. Letterman isn't funny. Bill O'reily is a tool.

I am a huge Letterman fan but he really came across as an idiot...  He gives O'Reilly  a hard time about his factor show and then says.... duhhh  I've never watched it...  Letterman is very funny but he should stick to making people laugh... O'Reilly... like him or not looked like he wanted to have an educated debate and Dave

I watch O'Reilly on FOX and i have to say he calls people on their shit all the time... left or right... he also has helped to bring light to injustices around the US...

I wonder if anybody pouncing on this thread actually listens to his radio show.

He's very bland and pragmatic, yet thought provoking because of his dogma of a no bullshit rule.
He advocates a naval blockcade of Korea and disagrees with our fiasco* in Iraq. This is mentioned by me as to point out that he is middle of the road.
I think he has a great face for radio and his television show makes me uncomfortable; he looks perpetually like he has to take a dump or is having gas.

Although I agree with Letterman, I think he should layoff sometimes.  He's very annoying.  His comedy sucks, and though in a lot of ways O'Reilly sucks, he's not the lying scumbag a lot of liberals like to think of him.  He might have some flaws, but so do a lot of talk show people.  Not to say that I like his show... but a lot of people out there hardly even watch it yet say how bad it is.  He actually gives thought to a lot of his responses.

Conan O Brian pwns David Letterman anyway.

Sorry to hear about your garage, and while I agree that suggesting we should invade North Korea is rather dumb, I believe Letterman was just implying how the WMD justification for war was false.  As O'Reilly said, this discovery proved that various intelligence sources were wrong.  And yes, if you go back to the late 90's, even Clinton was suggesting that we should invade Iraq -- but the key here is that Clinton didn't want to go forth with it unless we had the world's support.

The U.N. didn't approve of invading Iraq, so doing so with a limited "Coalition of the Willing" put a lot more financial burden on us.  I personally was against invading Iraq even with U.N. support, but if Bush had received it, then he'd be in a much better situation now.  Basically, if this operation had failed with the world's support behind us, then no one could blame us for trying.  That not being the case, it's easy for most of the world to ridicule this decision.
